DURANTM broad mouth great-purity, clear, USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, used to manufacture GLS 80TM laboratory bottles, is recognised for its superior thermal performance and great resistance to chemical assault. Long operating life is provided by the use of high-performance materials and a sturdy ISO 4796-1 design.
The bottles have a permanent white enamel marking area and an easy-to-read graduated volume scale. For manufacturing lot traceability, each bottle has a permanent retrace code. For use up to 140°C, DURANTM wide mouth GLS 80TM are supplied with a drip-free pouring ring and a blue polypropylene cap.
At 121 or 134°C, all components can be thoroughly autoclaved.
